Day 1: Pick up, Kigali city tour & transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Arrive at Kigali intentional airport; meet your driver guide from African Apes Holidays and drive to Kigali. Enjoy a city ride to tour Kigali genocide memorial center, Kings’ palace, Kigali convention center, art galleries and other tourism spots in Kigali city. Thereafter, drive northwards to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze region. Dinner and overnight stay at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge/ Davinci Lodge
Day 2: Golden Monkey trekking & departure
Have a morning breakfast and transfer to Kinigi park headquarters for registration and briefing on the do and don’ts of golden monkey trekking. The hike starts at 8:00 am lasting for between 30 minutes to several hours deeding n where the endangered species will be. You will spend an hour in the company of the golden monkeys, enjoy their playful behaviors, take pictures and have fun. Hike back, meet your driver back and drive to Kigali for your connecting flight.
