Day 1: Pick up & transfer to Bwindi Forest
Our driver-guide will meet and pick you up from Entebbe International airport for a transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park. Enjoy this full-day scenic drive through cattle farms, plantations, and small towns. Have a brief stop at the Uganda equator for photographs and proceed to Igongo cultural center for lunch. Later on, embark on a drive to Kabale reaching in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs Lodge/ Buhoma community Camp/ Bwindi Forest Lodge
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking & Batwa community tours
Wake up early, have breakfast and with your packed lunch, transfer to the park headquarters for registration and briefing about gorilla trekking rules and regulations. You will be put together in a group of 8 and allocated a gorilla family. At 8:00 am, start off a hike to trek gorillas. Gorilla trekking is a strenuous adventure but the magical feeling of meeting face-to-face with a silverback gorilla is worth the effort. Spend an hour with gorillas, take photos, observe their social behaviors and enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience. In the evening, visit Batwa communities for a cultural experience and learn about their traditional forest life. Dinner and overnight at Mahogany springs Lodge/ Buhoma community Camp/ Bwindi Forest Lodge
Day 3: Departure
Wake up early, have breakfast, check out and drive back to Kampala to catch up with your connecting flight at Entebbe International airport
