Day 1: Pick up, transfer to Murchison Falls Park – Evening boat cruise
Early in the morning, our driver-guide will pick you from the airport or your hotel in Kampala and drive northwestwards to Murchison falls national park. Enjoy the 5 hours drive through the Kampala and Masindi via farms, and towns. Reach in the afternoon, check into the lodge and embark on a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. Experience how the strong river waters squeeze through a 7-meter gorge falling 43 meters down into a devils’ cauldron. You will see a permanent rainbow at the bottom of the falls making you experience more magical. Also, the banks of the Nile River host numerous birds and wild animals, which you ought to see. The cool water breezes give you a fresh feeling. Dinner and overnight stay at Paraa Safari Lodge/ Murchison River Lodge/ Pakuba Safari Lodge.
Day 2: Game viewing & departure
Today you wake up very early and drive to the northern section of the park for game viewing. There you will see countless animals including giraffes, lions, elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, warthogs, Uganda kobs, leopards, oribis, and Jackson’s heartbeats among others. Return to the lodge for late breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive back to Kampala to catch up with your connecting flight.
