Day 1: Pick up & transfer to Kibale Forest
Our driver-guide will pick you fro Entebbe airport or your hotel in Kampala/Entebbe and journey to Kibale Forest National park. Enjoy the scenic drive through Mubende and Mityana via tea plantations, banana plantations and stop in Fort portal for lunch. Thereafter, proceed to Kibale Forest for dinner and overnight stay at Primates Safari Lodge/ Chimpanzee Forest Guest House
Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking & Bigodi wetland walk
Wake up early, have a cup of coffee, get your packed lunch and transfer to Kanyanchu information center for briefing about the rules, regulations, and guide for chimpanzee trekking. Trekking to see chimpanzees starts at 8:00 am taking as short as 30 minutes to several hours depending on how far or near chimpanzees will be located that day. On meeting chimpanzees, spend an hour in their company, enjoy their human-like characters, take photos, capture live videos and have fun with your close relatives. In the evening go for a nature walk in Gigodi wetland for bird watching, primates and also a fresh feeling of a natural forest. Dinner and overnight stay at Primates Safari Lodge/ Chimpanzee Forest Guest House
Day 3: Departure
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Kampala to catch-up with your connecting flight.
