Day 1: Pick up & transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Upon your arrival at Kigali International airport, your driver guide from our company will pick you up and transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. The drive time from Kigali to Mgahinga is roughly 4 hours via Cyanika border. Enjoy the scenic views of Rwanda’s rolling hills, Virunga volcanoes and beautiful landscapes of Kisoro district. Dinner and overnight stay at Gahinga Lodge/ Amajambere Iwacu Community Camp
Day 2: Golden monkey trekking & Departure
Today you wake up early, have breakfast and with your packed lunch transfer to Ntebeko information center for briefing about the dos and don’ts of golden monkey trekking. The trek to meet golden monkeys starts at 8:00 am lasting fro between 30 minutes to 4 hours. Send an hour in the company of the monkeys, enjoy their playful characters, and enjoy this lifetime experience. Thereafter, descend, receive your trekking certificate and drive back to Kigali for your return flight.
